Welcome to the Student Affairs Office at The Faculty of Health Sciences

The Student Affairs Office is an administrative service within The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences offering a variety of assistance and support to all students.

Administrative personnel assist with the various matters arising during the course of a study programme, beginning with the registration of students to the processing of degree certificates.

Examples of services offered are assistance with semester/course registration and certificates. When the studies are finished, please use the application form on this website .

Study councellors

Information and guidance regarding the different study programmes is provided by our study counsellors. Note that the language of instruction at all our programmes at the Faculty is Swedish, except programmes in biomedicin.

If you are already enrolled in a programme, the study counsellors are available for support through individual discussions throughout your education. Study counsellors take an oath of secrecy and provide many different kinds of support.

Medfak International administers exchange opportunities for both incoming exchange students and for those visiting abroad.

Student Health care and University Chaplaincy

A psychotherapist from the Health Care for Students (Studenthälsan) and a University Chaplain from The University Chaplaincy (Kyrkan på universitet) are also located at the Student Affairs Office. The Student Health Care Center is mainly located at Campus Valla and Campus Norrköping where they can offer conversational therapy and consultation with student welfare staff, including professional psychotherapist, counselors and nurses. The University Chaplaincy have also a priest located at Campus US some days a week, as well as a main office for the University Chaplaincy at Campus Valla and Campus Norrköping. The University Chaplaincy is available to students, faculty and employees of the University.
