Assignment of ISBN and thesis number

If your thesis is published at Linköping University, it will be assigned an ISBN and a number in the series of which it is a part. The University Library will provide you with that information.

Printing

Contact LiU-Tryck at least three months before your public defence is scheduled. Your thesis should be printed and ready to distribute approximately four weeks in advance.

Popular science summary in Swedish

Your thesis must contain a popular science summary in Swedish (approximately one page). The summary, which is intended for people who do not ordinarily read scientific journals, must describe the unique, relevant, useful and innovative aspects of your project. In other words, it should not be a translation of your abstract. Avoid scientific jargon.
The summary must have a Swedish title as well. It should not be a literal translation of the English title.
