General syllabus and individual study plan
- As of 1 July 2007, there is a single third-cycle subject at the Faculty of Health Sciences – Medical Science. A general syllabus has been drawn up for all doctoral students to follow. The syllabus specifies the main content of the programme, specific entry requirements and other instructions, such as the selection process and various examinations.
There are two versions of the syllabus depending on when the student were admitted:
Before 1 July 2007 there was one general syllabus for each of the 52 third-cycle subjects.
If you were admitted before 1 July 2007, you are entitled to follow the syllabus that was in effect when you were admitted until you receive your degree. You can also switch to the third-cycle subject of Medical Science. If you have any question about differences between the various syllabi, contact your department FUS.
