Routine for needlestick, cut or splash injury - risk for infection

In case of a needlestick, cut or splash injury that involves contact with human blood/tissue or infectious agent(s) it is important to clean the wound and contact Medical Care according to the routine found in the Biosafety section under Emergencies and accidents.
