Course contents: Invited speakers talk about presentation of mathematics and doctoral students give seminars that introduce their area of research.
Organisation: One seminar approximately every second week, hence, ten seminars during the spring and ten during the fall. The seminars, given by the doctoral students, should be presentations of their research areas and not detailed seminars. The presentation should be followed by a discussion about the contents of the seminar and also about the presentation technique.
Examination: Active participation (at least 12 seminars) and one seminar given by the student. It is running examination, i.e., the student does not have to finish the course in one year.
Prerequisites: The participants must be accepted to post-graduate studies at the Department of Mathematics. Master's students are welcome to follow the seminars, but will not be awarded any credits.
