Course literature: Eduard Zehnder, Lectures on Dynamical Systems, European Mathematical Society, 2010. ISBN 978-3-03719-081-4.

Course contents: Discrete and continuous dynamical systems. Structural stability. Ergodicity. Local structure near fixed points (Hartman-Grobman theorem, invariant manifolds, etc.). Some global aspects (phase portrait, bifurcations, homoclinic tangle, etc.). Hamiltonian systems.

Organisation: Lectures

Examination: Homework assignments. Literature project.

Prerequisites: Basic facts from real analysis, differential geometry, differential equations and functional analysis.
