Welcome to ITN, the Department of Science and Technology, at Linköping University
In the middle of Norrköping, in the unique industrial landscape along Motala Ström, Linköping University has a campus with both research and education. The activities at ITN, one of the departments at the campus, is primarily focused around the three pillars of organic electronics, media and communications / logistics, but also physics, mathematics, control theory and other classic areas are included.
Most of the activities are research, but also education is important. The Institute of Technology at Linköping University runs several engineering, bachelor and master programs in Norrköping, and the department is here active offering around 200 courses each year. There are also around 80 active PhD-students.
Today we are about 200 employees -- professors, teachers/researchers, PhD-students and technical and administrative staff.
