EWP Inter-Institutional Agreements and OLA

Beginning of June 2020 the European Commission announced via the National Agencies that the renewal of agreements in a digital format for the next Erasmus programme is postponed by one year (until call 2022) and that present agreements remain valid for the first call of the new Erasmus programme (call 2021).
Linköping University would like to inform its current Erasmus+ partners about Inter-Institutional Agreements between Programme Countries in the new programme (for the period 2022/2023 - 2027/2028).

On this page we’ll share updates about the process and timeline for the renewal process at Linköping University.

Erasmus Without Paper infrastructure for agreements

The EWP infrastructure should be used for signing agreements and consists out of two main elements:
The Erasmus+ Dashboard including the Inter-Institutional Agreement Manager
The Erasmus Without Paper Network connecting your own system that includes functionality for creating Inter-Institutional Agreements with the system used by your partner.

The system LiU uses is third party provider MoveOn, which is connected to the EWP network. If the system you use is not yet connected to the EWP network, you can use the Erasmus+ Dashboard, which will enable us to share our agreements.

Preparatory work to facilitate the digital signing

In order to prepare a smooth digital signing process of our agreements, it is important to discuss the cooperation conditions beforehand via email (number of students, total number of months, mobility type, subject area code, study cycle and language levels).

Since the infrastructure is not fully ready, we do not sign any agreements yet. Once MoveOn has implemented the updates and new functionalities (by early-mid August 2021), we’ll update this page and the Erasmus IIA coordinators will start the online signing procedure via Erasmus Without Paper.

Timeline for renewal of Erasmus+ agreements at LiU:

-->LiU will be ready to start renewing agreements in the field of Science and Engineering from end of August. In the coming weeks in June 2021, coordinators at the Faculty of Science and Engineering, will contact its partners as a preparation for the renewal.

-->In early autumn, the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, the Faculty of Educational Sciences and the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences will be able to start the renewal process after contacting its partners.

LiU Online Learning Agreements

LiU plan to initiate the use of online Learning Agreements (OLA) from Spring 2022. We accept online Learning Agreements and the paper version for incoming students.

For autumn outgoing mobilities, LiU students will be using a paper version based on the OLA which is approved by the Swedish National Agency. We kindly ask our partners to accept the paper version of the LA from LiU students and not require that LiU students also fill in an Online Learning Agreement.

2020 and 2021 calls

The European Commission extended the validity of the current Inter-institutional agreements for KA103 by one year. All current active inter-institutional agreements between Linköping University and its partners remain valid for student and staff mobilities to be organised under Erasmus+ KA103 projects, including those that will be selected under the 2020 and 2021 Calls (i.e. for mobilities in 2020-2021 and 2021-2022).
