The Department of Culture and Communication (IKK) encompasses a broad range of studies within the Arts and Humanities. This involves the whole spectrum: reflection, communication and artistic interpretation, from communication in a number of different languages to artistic interpretation using different materials. Languages, literature, music, religion, art and visual communication, outdoor education … are just some of the subject areas which the Department offers. In many areas there are also opportunities to pursue postgraduate studies at master’s and doctorate level in interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary environments, gathered under such groupings as “Language & Culture”, “Applied Ethics” and “Identity & Pluralism”.
