English 3: Presentation
Course codes: 711G30 (30 credits), 711G31 (15 credits of courses), 711G23 (15 credit Bachelor's thesis)
Course tutor: Nigel Musk
Well before the start of the course you will be able to access the timetable via TimeEdit, by entering your course code (full time course: 711G30; course modules only: 711G31; bachelor’s thesis only: 711G23).
As soon as we have updated the reading list and the course guide, you will be also able to access them here without a LiU ID under the tab “Övriga dokument” via the links in the following course codes:
Otherwise, we post information about the course in the university’s web-based learning platform, Lisam, e.g. the reading list, the course guide and the timetable. After you have been accepted (antagen) on the course, you should receive direct access before the course starts. However, to gain access you must have a LiU ID. If you don’t already have this, you need to create a temporary ID (see step 1 here: in English or in Swedish).
English 3 consists of two main course blocks: language and literature, which partly run in parallel. In addition there is a Method and Theory module (in both language and literature) and a Bachelor's thesis (on either a language or literary subject).
The following illustrates the relationship between the different course modules:
