The dealine for registration is now extended to 15 April 2016.
The aim of the AFM2016 conference is to highlight research within the area of Advanced Functional Materials, to establish new projects and collaborations, and to discuss challenges and opportunities within materials sciences, in the Nordic countries and internationally. The areas are broadly divided into Soft Materials, Hard Materials and Theory & Modelling. We plan for a number of invited presentations from world leading researchers within the field. The conference will also include presentations from scientists from the Strategic Research Area “Advanced Functional Materials” and from the graduate school “Agora Materiae” at Linköping University, parallel sessions with presentations by senior scientists, junior scientists and PhD students. There will also be poster sessions.
The conference will start Tuesday 23 August at 09:15. It will be possible, and even recommended, to arrive to Vildmarkshotellet already Monday evening 22 August. The conference will close afternoon Wednesday 24 August at 16:30.
