How it was built – in 30 seconds
Studenthuset has been two years in the making. The first spade in the ground was set in 2017: now the opening is upon us. We present a short film of the construction: How it was built – in 30 seconds.
All those who worked in Origo had moved out by March 2017. It only took a few months to carefully disassemble Origo in a way that allowed the material to be reused. The first spade in the ground for Studenthuset was set on 29 May, and since then it has been possible to follow the construction by a camera mounted by Akademiska hus in the Key Building. It can’t really be called an action film. But two years of daily photography have been made into a 30-second film.
