Open activities

A series of activities will take place this autumn, all focusing on the Creative and Supportive Work Environment project, which is part of the Campus LiU 2015 project.

The acoustic environment at the workplace

Lecture on sound and acoustic environments. Q&A session.

Lecture: Jonas Christensson, acoustics designer at Ecophon, is an expert on designing good acoustic environments for office landscapes and lecture theaters. He has spent many years studying how sound affects us and how acoustic environments can be improved.


Current Trends

Lecture on current trends and new opportunities in the work environment field. Q&A session.

Lecturer: Thomas Nathorst - Böös, architect, organisational consultant and author. His books include Rum för framgång (Room for success). In his view, the architect’s role is to guide the client towards making the best possible decision for the operations. His ideal office environment has a bar at the centre of the room and quiet areas on the periphery. He is well aware that open office environments can present a challenge for those who need peace and quiet.
