Strict restrictions extended to the end of term

Strict restrictions continue at Linköping University. For the whole of the autumn term, we continue to study and work from home. We have all taken our individual responsibility seriously in recent weeks, and we must continue to do so to reduce the spread of infection.

Welcome to Global Linköping, 16-26 November

Climate and health – how are they related? Can you be interested in fashion and at the same time achieve sustainable consumption? These are two of the questions to be discussed during the 2020 edition of “Global Linköping”, which this year will take place mainly using digital methods. All students at LiU are welcome this year to a complete programme of events in English, organised by student societies – Global Weeks.

IT-services unavailable on Tuesday

On Tuesday November 10, between 1-1.30 am, registration for exams, exam results and the LiU-app will be unavailable due to database migration.

Swedish Research Council (VR) webinars

In December 2020, LiU Grants and Program Offices (GPO), will arrange webinars with useful information and advice for those applying for a starting grant or project grant from the Swedish Research Council (VR).

Warning for phishing – package delivery

Information from the Incident Response Team (IRT) to all co-workers: we are seeing a large increase in sophisticated phishing attempts at the moment. Some of these target LiU specifically, such as the previous phishing attempt against the library. Others are indirect, and these can also expose LiU co-workers to risk.

eISP to be introduced in several departments

The project was initially delayed, but the introduction of eISP is now proceeding apace. Seven of twelve departments have already started to work with the digital system, or are preparing to do so. “It only takes an hour to get going”, says Anne Moe, member of the project group and one of those working with eISP in practice.

Academic Ceremonies in 2021

The Academic Ceremony for 2020 has been both postponed and cancelled. A plan has now been drawn up for the promotion of doctors and installation of professors next year.
