Student questionnaire puts LiU under the microscope

The 2017 student questionnaire is well under way. Between now and 20 April, students at LiU have the opportunity to make known their views about the study environment, their courses, equal opportunities, and student democracy.

At Linköping University we have several examples of how students prepare for their coming professional roles.

Building Origo

Origo to be fenced in

A fence will be erected around the Origo Building at the beginning of April in preparation for its dismantling and the construction of Studenthus Valla. After 20 March, it will no longer be possible to park behind the Origo Building.

Two-year residence permit for PhD students

The Swedish Migration Agency has changed its practice regarding the length of residence permits for PhD student to two years.

With her sights set on a Swedish Classic Circuit

She stood on skis for the first time in 2013 – and they were borrowed skis! Now, just last week, Solmaz Filiz Karabag completed the “Half of Vasaloppet”, probably the first Turkish woman to do so. Now she has her sights set on the Swedish Classic Circuit – a challenge of events in four endurance sports: cross country skiing, cycling, open water swimming, and cross country running.
